Terms of Service

Bookings & Deposits

All charters require a $500 CAD deposit to secure your date. This deposit is fully refundable if you cancel more than 14 days before your charter date. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable unless we are able to rebook your date.

Weather & Safety

The safety of all guests is our first priority. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any charter due to unsafe weather or sea conditions. In the event of a captain-initiated cancellation, your deposit will be refunded in full or applied to your rescheduled date.

Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to follow the captain's safety instructions at all times. The captain reserves the right to return to port early if guest conduct presents a safety risk, without refund of the charter fee. Consumption of alcohol is permitted aboard in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.

Liability

Vancouver Boat and Yacht Rentals carries full commercial liability insurance. Guests board and participate in all activities at their own risk. We are not liable for personal property lost or damaged aboard the vessel.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
