Choose Your Season Wisely
BC's coast is charterable year-round, but each season has a distinct character.
**Summer (June–September)** is the obvious peak — warm days, calm anchorages, the highest probability of whale sightings, and the warmest water for swimming. Book 3–6 weeks in advance.
**Spring and Fall** offer dramatic skies, excellent marine wildlife viewing, and a quieter, more intimate experience at anchorages. Temperatures are mild by any Canadian standard. Book 1–2 weeks in advance.
**Winter** is for the adventurous and the rewarded. The light is extraordinary, the wildlife is active, and you may well have an entire anchorage to yourselves. Storms are a factor — our captain monitors conditions carefully and will always reschedule if conditions are unsafe.
Understand the Pricing
Our pricing is straightforward: $400/hour for the vessel (5-hour minimum), plus $85/hour for your captain. Optional deckhand at $65/hour. Fuel is estimated based on your planned route and charged separately.
For a 5-hour romantic sunset cruise: approximately $2,425. For a full 8-hour family Gulf Islands day: approximately $3,880. For a 2-day multi-island expedition with overnight: from $7,760 plus provisions and fuel.
Build Your Itinerary
